Bread: It's Your Right!

No wheat?! No fair! And you’re right. You should feel ripped off. After all we’ve been eating bread for thousands of years. It’s a main staple meant to nourish and sustain. So what are these seemingly crazy people talking about when they say no wheat? 
The problem is that the wheat today is not truly wheat anymore. The original wheat was Einkorn, then it was slighty modified and became Emmer. Emmer is likely the wheat talked about in the bible. Up until about 50 years ago we still grew Emmer. 
Some well meaning people decided that they would try to solve world hunger by increasing the yield on a crop of wheat. And bless them, they increased the yield. One very important thing was left out, would this new wheat be safe for human consumption? Unfortunately it isn’t. Take a look around you, from adults to children, how many have fat accumulating around their middles? The percentage is high. The fat is just an outward sign. Studies show that wheat consumption affects everything from “brain to anus”; inflammation, fatigue, brain fog, IBS, high cholesterol, diabetes…
For the first time in thousands of years the human species is having to opt for a wheat free diet in order to survive rather than needing the wheat to live. If all you ever cut out was wheat, you would see your quality of life transformed and that’s the unhappy/happy truth of it.
I recommend a great book by Dr. William Davis called, Wheat Belly. He was overweight, diabetic, with high cholesterol. He is now a good weight, not diabetic, with healthy cholesterol. He has since researched and conducted decades of clinical studies all with the same results; go wheat free and improve your health.

But don’t take my word for it, and don’t take his either. Do your own research and try going wheat free for yourself.
